Ghana is ruined, just 2 days ago I was having a conversation with a Guinean friend, and one of the subjects of discussion was how Ghana the bastion of African intellectualism and Education has sunk into the abyss. She was lamenting over how a new relative from Guinea was just about learning to speak English so she can fit into Accra lie, but gets incensed when confronted with rash and unintelligible Twi. So then to my amazement she told me something that I have observed over the years. Young Pupils and Students walking to and from school, engaging in conversations in Twi, teachers distributing English language study books and instructing the kids in Twi, or making uneducated remarks and intonations in Twi, what more do YOU PEOPLE EXPECT. Even our parliamentarians cannot express themselves well, ironically even in their favorite local language, always rubbish out and rubbish in. Anybody who dreams in Twi lacks the power of innovation or fantasy upon which life can progress into the future PERIOD! Deal with it people, the boy is right, in his mind he won 4 awards and you people glorify him.
