You don't owe anyone an explanation apart from your family who may be hurting and disappointed about this incident. Move on your ex has obviously moved on so should you. Check yourself into a health spa and sign on to all the goodies, massage, detox, healthy eating, yoga etc, shut yourself to the world for about 2 weeks, reflect on your life and think about how you are going to move on. I assure you will come back a new person and you will feel like all these never happened. And one piece of advice I have always lived on is to BEWARE OF FRIENDS!!!! Some friends are worse than enemies, concentrate on building a relationship with your son and concentrate on your building your life up again. You'll only realise how easy it if you try.
