  I strongly believe that, after traditional marriage all is done. Why go through counseling by an irresponsible man who calls himself church elder, who doesn't have any clue on fixing his family. Wedding is useless and cause of most divorce. 80% of newly couple begin marriage with debt because of wedding - because in Ghana there's no low cost wedding. Univited guests even outnumber the invited ones.

  You have spoken well but, the problem is your church members especially women who are poised on having plush weddings at the expense of the men. There are so many young people still struggling to pay debts from unnecessary wedding expenses. Why is our Traditional African Wedding- an engagement? Can someone tell me? We have been enslaved so much that we think traditionally marrying someone is beneath anyone. Africans need a mental change. This has been the way the Western cultures want us to think and no wonder we are all craving to travel to their countries in order to be rich or make it in life. God should save us!!
