What is on his shoulder is not his rank, it's called LINE YARD. It can be used by the military or the police irrespective of the person's rank, though it's not common these days.

U need rather to find out why? Not all of them though, some of these sleeping police officers u c sleeping perform 24/7 duty tour n out of tiredness they resulted to this. Some of them is not their fault.

many atimes wat we know s dat we are save wen it comes to security wise,BT we are nt,could u imagine a police man on duty ,who is fully armed went to chop n drop his weapon on de chipping table n went ahead to join a queue ,i went closer to check if his weapon was at save bt de funny thing i saw was dat ,de safety catch was at semi which means ani little touch of dat weapon by an unknown pesrson could course casualties. dis means dat dey lack how to handle weapon ,I ve also realised dat after training school ,dey dnt further go for weapon training unlike de military where each blessing day ,weapon exercise becomes deir major objective .police man would never hesitate to fire a round or two without ani serious threat.how to fire s all wat dey no and nothing else.I therefore suggest to de high police commanders to ensure dat their men should be sent to further weapon training so dat dis minor offences police are coursing through weapon n dat of dier trigger happy behavier will stop..
