Though they have a point based on promoting our own,I personally thinks Adom TV is a business entity and so just trying to promote their business and win more viewers.

This rules out the fallacy that Twi GH movies outsell the English ones because "they promote our culture". The only reason the Twi movies kept selling is the high level of illiteracy in Ghana.

Now that those who watch the Twi movies have something better (Kumkum bhagya) they can consume in Twi, they've ditched the Kumawood movies. Kumawood producers need to buy better stories from good scriptwriters and spend good money in production then work on modern distribution channels.
Before anybody replies me to say trash, know that I'm Ghanaian.

Ghanaians will patronise anything foreign to the detriment of our local stuffs with the excuse that they are of low quality.And when the local industries collapses they will turn around to blame the government for not providing enough employment for the poeple especially the youth.We should remember that you cannot eat your cake and have it.One thing most of us don't know is that most of these foreign countries have laws which protect their local industries and this helps them to expand quickly but unfortunately ours is the opposite and so it becomes very difficult to compete with these foreign goods which are also very cheaper.
So my dear Ghanaians either we help ourselves or we crush.This Kumawood industry needs a push and support from us all because it has really made a lot of the guys very rich.If care is not taken and this industry also collapses and all the guys involve also turn to the government for employment then I wonder what will become of this country.Already the meat has been eaten to the bone.
Foreigners are taking over everything in the country and yet anytime a ghanaian tries to come up with something our own people will sabotage him/her.
Rome was not build in a day so buy made in Ghana goods for your children and grand childrens future.
