Do you remember Grace Omaboe who crossed carpet from NDC to NPP? She stood on a political platform in Cape Coast and told Fantis that she had seen the light because her brother Akufo Addo, an akyem, had been elected the flag bearer of NPP so she was calling on the people of cape Coast to vote for him. This was at a time Cape Coast was an NPP strong hold. Fantis, as enlightened as they are, of course voted against NPP. I thought this would have taught some of you kokoase nkurasefuo some lessons in how you conduct your politics. The truth is you are foolishly full of your self. Wise up.

SARPONG, I am not sure if it's you or someone using your name. Though I disagree with his view that, there is nothing stopping Mahama from wining the 2016 presidential election, he is right in saying that the implementation of the approved increased electricity tariffs by ECG poses a threat to Mahama's re-election. In fact, I went further than that in my article on this subject posted on Ghanaweb on May 30, 2016 that ECG is sabotaging Mahama's government (see my article entitled, "Is ECG Electrocuting Mahams's Second Term Chances?"),

Prior to posting the article, I spoke to an energy expert in the US who is familiar with the Ghanaian situation and for the over a decade has been trying to assist Ghana with solutions but has been ignored by governments whilst he is a hot cake in the US and being used by big companies across the US as well as international organisations. He agreed with me that, metres are programmed so they do what the programmer instructs them to do and what is happening in Ghana was deliberate theft.

I disagree with Mr Bilson because his conclusion is not based on any objective analysis or scientific reasoning such as an opinion poll. Moreover, both Mahama and Nana Akufo-Addo can win the 2016 presidential election thought the latter's task is not made easy by his party's internal conflict whilst Mahama has the advantage of incumbency and his party more united.That is not to say that incumbency can guarantee electoral success because both NDC and NPP suffered defeats at the hands of the opposition, though this time the difference is that the incumbent is a candidate unlike the two previous occasions (as per my article entitled "Will Akufo-Addo be Third Time Lucky", Ghanaweb, April 18, 2016).

So, now, we know both these factions of the NPP and NDC are bereft of honesty and would never concede their self-inflicted wounds that could cause them the Elections.

They both have already made the EC a scapegoat for their failures to convince the Electorate for votes to win the Elections.
