Which paints a picture in your mind?(imagery) Which compares two things(metaphor/simile). Which of the lines got life in it? Which engages you on an emotional level? Which appeals to brain power? Which of them will get you saying wooow? Who would you rather you listened to? Rap is an art. Art in itself is application of human creative skill and imagination, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power. Rap is the entire reason why u wake up from bed every morning without getting bored of life.....you see the same old things being expressed in different beautiful ways. So I'm safe to say if you are not creative and imaginative enough then your product won't exude that much beauty then. Would you still call Artist B an artist? A 5 year old boy could easily tell a girl "I still love you" without blinking an eye. Now what's beautiful about that? It's common place, mundane, clichéd? Mehn I got eyes for beautiful things; at least I know a beautiful lady when I see one. Rap is quite a measure of an artist's intelligence. Now let's piece that with the ongoing rap feud between the rag and the Kaba Manifest's ?#?first_line?: "I pull up on the future screaming hallelujah". Pull up is a phrasal verb meaning to stop momentarily. If u pull up a car u stop it for a while. Imagine Manifest pulling up a car at his future screaming hallelujah. Screaming hallelujah, that is a religious allusion. When do you scream hallelujah? Don't answer me, I know you screamed hallelujah when you finally got an E8 in your WASSCE English paper than the usual F9. The guy is literally meeting his future happily, confidently with square shoulders.....no doubt, a rich kid, dadabee from long. ?#?second_line?: In a barracuda smoking buddha in fallujah.
