Sarkodie usually appears on stage for Akuffo-Ado and has songs that many consider to be thrown directly at Mahama and the NDC administration. M.anifest on the other hand is the son of a renowned lawyer, Tsatsu Tsikata, who is a guru in the NDC. the question I want to ask is, why these rappers waited till election year before coming up with this fight. I pray it does not damage the music industry. this fight may live for a very long time that, their generations may come and continue as far as NDC and NPP exist in ghana.

Hopefully the socioeconomic and cultural animosity that has underpinned the thug wars and murders among American rap icons like Tupac and
Notorious B.I.G. will not be blindly copied within the Ghanaian context. We do not need to copy their gun violence. If we keep it at the level of just chart and popularity warfare within the context of music as a commodity, then that is fine entertainment.OUR PERFORMING ARTS PROFESSORS AND SOCIOLOGISTS IN OUR UNIVERSITIES SHOULD ANALYSE THESE TRENDS FOR US AND WARN OF ANY BAD INFLUENCES.
