  Great article. But what about if your partner entered to marriage just to take advantage of you with lies and manipulations just to get what she wants.
  
  Very verbally and physically abusive with degrading words and just will not help or support but watch TV all day and all night? Later coming to find out that she is involved in using drugs whiles you are at work. Testing positive to drugs as well as newly born baby testing positive.
  
  And when you ask for divorce then follows threats to your career and life and insults.
  
  How do you handle such situation? Just stay in and hope for the best?
  
  Please provide advice.
  What do you do with that?

  The bedrock of marriage is love not sacrifice. It is love, the engine, that drives another to sacrifice for his/her lover but not vice versa. We sacrifice because we love, period.

  Marriage is not an ELEVATION.....it is just finding the one person to have sex with for the rest of your life, because we are not strong enough to be celebate (especially the men). If people will see this simple truth, they would understand why faithfulness to one's partner is important. Embellishing marriage into what it is not is the reason why people who are 'elevated' are still sleeping around...elevated my ass.

  if u cannot sacrifice like that u going other.
  like Jesus Christ because of love for us, he sacrificed. the same if u love someone u must sacrificing for him or her.
