Mzbel, I have heard and read a lot of views and opinions about this rather needless judgments meted out to these harmless guys, Some views are vehemently critical of the judgments, whilst others are in favour of it.l have been very much of rage since yesterday, the more l think about what went into the minds of the so called justices handing over the politically motivated judgment the more enraged I become. But Mzbell , having read your opinion now, there is a lot of comfort and inner peace within me. lt is a fact, they the judges themselves have brought their own Court in serious disrepute now. l don't think even the most commoner in the street today, who is objective, based on Sir John's utterance's against the court as against the Montie guys would develop any iota of respect for that court, let alone, the faceless judges on that bench. Mzbel, may God bless you!

Don't we all know that the judiciary's work cannot be interfered with by the Executive epitomized in the President? So why di Justice Sophia Akkuffo have to remind us? There is only one answer. Payback time. Remember the Election Petition case where the some justices were encouraging the NPP to press for Justice Atuguba to recuse himself using his close relationship with DR Raymond Atuguba the then Ex Sec of the President. Then her own close affinity with Nana Addo was pointed out, and she was also asked to recuse herself, she mellowed. Her positions taken on most of the issues raised in that case are well documented. Be that as it may, Justice Sophia Akkuffo, Nsiah, Gbadegbe and co have never taken kindly to the result of that case, and later public pronouncement by Gbadegbe in the Abu Ramadan case betrayed him and his colleagues as troubled persons with an axe to grind. The Muntie FM trio became the unfortunate victims of their frustrations. Atuguba was magnanimous with the Gbese possessed Sir Joh and even joked about it in his ruling. These other justices have actually shown a vindictive attitude to the Gbigbiblilbli guys. Condemnable as the sad events of 30th June 1982, this sentence is more or less taking their pound of flesh from the murder of their colleagues, unfortunately from the wrong and innocent, while the main suspect believed to be responsible for this and his wife are sitting down watching. And dinning with the uncle of Sophia Akkuffo. Wonders would never end.

The Judges, by their act, simply exposed the flaws existing within the laws of the land. The Supreme Court can, through the judicial agency responsible for regulating attorneys, have control over the conduct of attorneys. The Court simply used this tool to drag these citizens into its court, usurping the power of the Attorney General to determine what cases should be prosecutable. No court has been given the authority to drag citizens before it if those citizens were never charged by the State for their conduct. Such act by the Supreme Court amounts to abuse of power;, having decided to sit in judgment of the defendants while being the same Court that leveled charges on them.

Further, the Directors and owners of the radio station were found guilty of a matter that they never committed, showing how far the highest court in the land is willing to abuse its power, knowing that no other court exists to attack its totalitarian power. The Supreme Court will be hardpressed to explain what laws the defendant broke, and how the Court came about having the authority to charge and at the same time try the defendants. The Court's action is a farce, a charade, and a total mockery of justice.

In the case of the Muntie 3, there was no such medical report the was submitted the court to back the kpokpobribri claim. No judge will accept such baseless claim.
This is the difference between the two cases. You cannot threat the lives of supreme Court judges and want be freed by the court on account of some baseless claim of kpokpobribri. So Mzbel must differentiate between the two. Mzbel is comparing apples and oranges! Warped analysis!
