We must not take lightly any such threats to our Judges or Public Officials like the President. But we ought to put issues like that into their proper contexts, and honestly evaluate how likely such threats might have been actionable or just hyped, egoistic murmurs.

The Court in hearing the culprits made that determination. If the Court saw the culprits as real potential danger to the lives of the Judges, it would have given the culprits much longer terms in prison.

So, we must appreciate the fact that the culprits all showed remorse for their loudmouths and empty arrogant threats and the fact that they all apologized for their misbehavior, and accept the pardon the President has given them.

After all, the pardon does not exonerate them from their stupid, empty threats made. It is just a matter of acknowledging that they could do better outside the Jail than inside for the Nation. Their incarceration would cost us needlessly for their harmless hollow threats. They could be closely monitored for a while when they are out of Jail and that could draw the best of behavior out of them to benefit all.

The experience in Court and Jail would be enough lessons for them and a deterrence for potential culprits of such behavior.

Therefore, the President must be left alone on this issue. What I would wish the Montie 3 began to think about is whether they would like it if someone they had bad-mouthed on their shows threatened to kill them, even if that person did not mean it.

Besides, our Constitution protects all Public Officials from being assaulted or intimidated whilst doing their job. And the little Jail-term the Montie 3 got must send a message to others.
