Lutterodt should have asked why a sibling usually deputises for the groom. Formerly, father of the bride is usually angry that his daughter is leaving him so some have been known to have assaulted the groom to be during the customary rites. For that reason in the olden days, even when the groom is in the same area, he does not come and someone else represents him. That is the reason the groom was not allowed to meet the future father-in-law during the knocking or customary rites. Presently, most to be in-laws will have met many times before the customary rites so that negative action by brides' parents to attack the men has reduced.

What type of pastor is Lutterodt? To say people who are NOT YET married but plans to marry to have sex before the marriage. It means mortal man wants to test what He God has done to prove whether His creation meets our aspiration.

Can Lutterodt tell me what happens if the first couple after having sex decide they did not enjoy it so lets break up. The next encounter also comes out not acceptable? After ten and more trials the lady will feel like a prostitute. Has Lutterodt thought of that?

If you refer to our traditional marriages as engagement, then most of us were born out of wedlock. Unfortunately it is the Church that is perpetuating these assumptions.

Was Isaac wrong in doing that? which part in the bible states that Isaac was wrong? whereas other countries are thinking about how to go to space, develop their economy through job creation, someone like this man is thinking about the validity of someone having access to vagina. In the eyes and minds of mortal human being, what the brother is doing is a physical representation, but spiritually a connection is created between the two people who physically represented when that contract was established. So, in "spiritual technicalities" the two people can consumate. This the angle where the man was speaking from. Well, i dont expect everyone to get it anyway. A pastor feels it is not right for families to allow a brother to marry on behalf of a brother staying abroad and conclude that if that happens then the brother who steps in can have the same right just like the one abroad.
