SMS KNUST which trained most of the doctors at KATH has been disappointing. Doctors in hospitals in the country are supposed to conduct mortality meetings. At such weekly meetings mortalities(deaths) of patients are discussed and health personnel questioned. Reports indicate that less than 10 hospitals in the country have been conducting such meetings.
Sources say hospitals like KATH have not done that for the past 16 years

The MOH has chalked successes but its ineptitude in this regard is totally mind boggling.

We in Ghana are going to vote for change, and we are optimistic of achieving positive results from the change in government. The same things were said in the run up to the 2000 elections in Ghana. But we didn't losevwhen we voted for the New Patriotic Party.

Nigeria economy over depends on crude oil, which has made the country subsistible or proned to fluctuations in crude oil price. No one knows when the slump in oil price will improve. The advice to the government of Nigeria is to start diversifying the economy with agricultural produce and also industries that will use the agricultural produce as raw materials. Set up local industries that will manufacture products to meet the ever increasing home demand.

have you thought about the real need for these industries? you might sometimes be better off actually importing! Nigeria problem is corruption and leaking of national revenue which needs to be address as a priority.

They can't even pay their low naira salaried workers & you are advising the government to "magically" set up multi-billion dollar industries!!! Easier said than done!!! The fact is a country with over 200 fiercely tribal mutually hating ethnic & sub-ethnic groups that are selfish & corrupt against the national interest is DOOMED!!! It is only a matter of time!!!

Akufo-Addo, Ghana's Buhari, Ghana's Ouattara, is making the right noises that is music to the ears of Ghanaians. He is expected to win a landslide victory in the upcoming elections, rubber stamped by God!

Akuffu Addo will only come and blame Mahama for not being able to fulfil his promises..he will blame the NDC for every failure and tune round and use the tax payers money to defray his ever mounting debts
