When I went back home to Ghana I was astounded at how fat Ghanaians were getting.Gone are the days when the dawn light was greeted with joggers, neighborhood footballclubs training and keepfit clubs.These days Ghanaians have resolutely turned their energies towards eating as much as possible and as unhealthy as never before.I know family members who eat bank or kenkey for breakfast, waakye for lunch and a generous sized ball of fufu for dinner and wash all this down with an over sweetened fruit(coloured)juice.I don't know who the health minister is and what they are doing to educate Ghanaians about this slow match to death but I sincerely pray that Ghanaians will move from this new lifestyle.
