  I really don't understand why some people bring up issues on NPP promises for discussion. Most of the promises were put there just for vote winning purposes. A simple check on NPP's 2000 manifesto and their record after 8 years will tell what and who these people are. In fact, they disregarded over 85% of their promises. These people are not trustworthy. They are simply LIARS, and it beats my imagination how Ghanaians still tolerate their nonsense. 1 region, 1 theatre: 1 district, 1 factory: 1 village, 1 dam: restore allowances to the much expanded colleges of education: enhanced allowances for nurse trainees: allowances for Islamic (makaranta) teachers: Zongo Fund, Northern Development fund, Middle Belt development fund, Coastal Development fund, Palm Oil Development fund: Railway lines from Accra to Ouagadougou, Tema to Akologo, etc. Meanwhile, these conmen are promising reduction in all manner of taxes, and scrapping of some others. It is only illiterates, semi-literates, NPP surrogates and their empty headed supporters who will foolishly believe them.
