I fully support that the Government should you state money to build your heart desire house for you, if possible a vehicle be added to shoffel you up and down till you die in peace. What a great Man? This man has done great service to mother Ghana. During the days of the stupid revolutions in Ghana, this man and his GA GROUP put entertainments into our joy. Those days of CULTURE OF SILENCE, when people fear to talk, this man and his group spoke on our behalf through their entertainments shows.Those days of culture of silence killings, these people spoke on our behalf through their performance. Infact all Ataa Mensah is asking for is not about greediness or whether he was paid or not during his days. Ataa Mensah and his Adabraka Drama Troupe were acting before Osofo Dadzie Group. But the most painful side of the issue is that all the members of Osofo Dadzie Group were given Estate Houses at Dansoman in Accra. That is the place commonly called Osofo Dadzie. Their houses were in line. All the seven member group of Osfofo Dadzie all lived there. I vividly remember Super O.D. Estate house was number one on the line. As the years goes by they all sold their estate houses for fear of being taken away from them by subsequent Government. It was given to them by Colonel l.K.. Acheampong the head of State of Ghana at the time (1972). Osofo Dadzie,Kojo Kwakye,S K. Oppong,Fred Addae,Super O.D.,Akua Boahema and Brikisi were the members who were given those estates houses. So Ataa Mensah knows what he is saying. It is sad. No truth in Ghana.

No TV entertainment group were being paid those days. They did it for the love of it and the greatest prestige of appearing on Television that's all. They weren't paid. So to me Ataa Mensah deserve to honored not waiting till he dies then he is given state burial will long tributes been read. He is 89 years old and what is the nation waiting for. This is very sad.
