INFRASTRUCTURES ALONE CANNOT REDUCE POVERTY
If infrastructures alone can reduce poverty in developing countries Nigeria would have been heaven on earth but go and see the level of abject poverty prevailing in that oil rich country. Since the oil boom in the 70s, subsequent Nigerian governments have been investing billions of dollars into infrastructural projects building mega-schools, mega-hospitals, Mega-universities, super-highways and a new modern city called Abuja yet these mega-projects have not reduced poverty in Ogbodo Niger. Infact, it is on record that Nigeria exports the highest number of beggars to the rest of Arica.
So you see, infrastructure alone is not enough to create wealth and jobs. What can create wealth and jobs is sound policies as espoused by Nana and Bawumia.

Charlotte Osei, be bold to put it to NDC to leave you[the EC] alone because you are not an electoral commission of NDC but of GHANA.Tell NDC not to jump to respond to queries that are meant for the EC as if NDC is mandated by law to be the PRO of the EC.Mr Eric Kofi's role and functions as head of the EC's communication is being usurped by NDC.This attitude of NDC and the silence and or inability of the EC to tell NDC right in the face to mind it's own business, gives credence to assertions and the impression that the EC is in a secretly planned CONVENANT to rig the up coming elections.If there are any such EC/NDC secret plans, the earlier you[the EC] abort and abandon that, the better for us all. We ghanaians and africans at large just hate the truth and very biased in our thinking and stupid when politics is even involved.
common filing fees people took the ec to court. you come here on ghanaweb and it's all insults on the ec chairperson yet every decision taken by this ec has also been supported with the relevant laws which she didn't enact! Im surprise all of a sudden every political dog is barking at roof top for a perfect and a 100% competent ec. the same politicians and their foolsoldiers never care to take the auditor general or attorney general on when they fail to prosecute economic murderers who have looted and shared state funds.
i don't care who wins this elections but i encourage Mrs Osei to be strong and see to the successful end to this elections. She will surely be the best EC chair in subsequent elections.

She is dragging her feet to supply full register as she may rely on not enough time to correct errors if they occur in the final register or parties may not have enough time to track conceived names or voters.
