You are right Kojo. If he was a moslem, why this event. Anyway don't let's forget that one of the most priorities of the Ghanaian today is funeral. It's sad.

Never my brother, his father's family thought he was from the royal family and thus the need to abide by their rules. In order peace to prevail what do you expect. Muslims are being attacked and tagged with bad image forgetting individual actions and not his religion. So master they lost as well cos his mother's side also wants to do business as well.

His family in koforidua blatantly refused to release the corpse to the Muslims for burial upon several pleas probably cos of their lack of respect for the guy's religion. The national chief iman delegated the eastern regional iman to plead with the family for the release of the corpse but they refused. Many prominent southern Muslims died and were buried immediately afterwards in accordance with Muslim rites, examples are Alhaji Sly Tetteh, Mallam Issa Osei, Sheikh Ibrahim Amartey etc. So my brother leave them to continue to fight over the dead body. Besides not all northerners are Muslims, a sizeable number is also Christian including president mahama and Martin Amidu

We've had enough with both families. These two families have pulled, pushed and dragged this guy's dead body for so long that majority of people don't give a monkey backside what they do with him. As one person rightly said " they can make kebab out of it" that is how far their "tradition and cultural" demands has gotten people to speak, bear in mind people only play the "traditional and cultural demands" when it suits them. Ghanaweb must also stop publishing everything about these two families then maybe they will bury their dead and make him rest in peace
