  Is pidgin not English? Even Kidjo still sang in English. China despite their huge population are yet to colonize the entertainment world because most acts are not in English. The highest grossing Indian movies like "Slum dog millionaire" and "Like Stars on Earth" are in English. Nobody knows Indian music stars but musicians from places like South Korea and Singapore are superstars in Asia because they sing in English. If you like remain a local champion.
