I don't support the reprisals she's reporting to be facing; however, if you insult somebody's father in the name of politics and he asks you to apologize, I don't believe that's too much to ask. Nana Addo did not cry when she openly insulted him; so, I don't see why she should cry when she's advised to apology to him.

How could any right thinking Ghanaian justify these attacks on MzBell and other known supporters of NDC because their utterances or campaign against a presidential hopeful by describing him as unfit for the presidency constitute a crime? Is it not their right as citizens of Ghana to express their opinion and preference as such? I pray this never happens to any of you NPP apologists who are excited that this is happening to MzBell because she said Nana Addo was unfit for the presidency. Just remember it could happen to any of you guys because NPP is well noted for attacking their own when they failed to worship Nana Addo. Nana Addo is a demigod and cannot be criticized. He’s infallible and highly competent.
Many NPP supports and surrogates of Nana Addo called and are still calling the sitting president of Ghana unprintable names but he accommodates all those invectives. However, when someone describes Nana Addo as un-presidential she must apologize?
Wow…. I really hope the Ghanaian media is taking note. Nana Addo cannot be criticized per NPP guidelines so beware. This is the real change Ghanaians voted for so they must deal with it unfortunately.

Lumba escaped death by mere seconds when unauthorised National Security elements raided his mansion to teach him a lesson in 2008 for campaigning for Nana Addo. Foot Soldiers for both parties do not reason like you and me. I am glad the NPP has come out to condemn such attacks and requested the authorities to step. These are moral issues the majority of the perpetrators dont appreciate. Hopefully sooner or later we can flush it out of the system.

In our system where the lowly foot soldiers deify leaders, a lot of water will have to pass under the bridge before common sense prevails.
