U re the head to protect your family not to abuse them. The man has the duty to love the woman and automatically the woman will be submissive, if u dn't love ur wife do not expect your woman to be submissive. Being submissive means to be humble, caring, a helper not a slave as most of our men think. Bein submissive is a way of returning back the love ur husbandand is showing.
