That egg Mzbel got served a purpose: that a Ghanaian girl in her prime age of 30s doesn't go around spilling insults against an elderly person older than her own father even when it was provoked. What she could have done, however was to argue her point out coherently with logic and decorum.

And it seems to me that many uninformed Ghanaians have assigned a negative connotation to the word "village", and for that matter people who dwell in our villages. Anytime somebody offends them, they throw the phrase "you're a villager" at them implying a village dweller is not "enlightened" enough. Which statistics put out the idea that villagers are less enlightened than their so called city dwellers? lives in the cities happen because of what villagers bring from the villages, yet those who hardly think beyond their nose, out of their sheer ignorance, are ready to talk down on village dwellers who make living in the cities possible.

The economic activities of the villagers sustain our country: gets everybody PAID and FED and that includes the President of Ghana. So, anybody who thinks a village dweller is not progressive is simply a FOOL.
