Now we are being told Manama wants to keep living in the residence designated for vice presidents in Ghana and this has generated a lot controversy and ugly comments here and there But hmm can we Africans ever think normal. If an individual is voted for and becomes a president does that make that person a demi god? I admit it takes somebody of much integrity and wit to stand to be elected and even win elections to become the first gentleman of the land.But is there so much difference between the workload of a president and the chief directors in the ministries,executives in government agencies.?Take the risk police officers and other security personnel face daily in their line of work, The teachers who work under very appalling conditions often in remote villagers without electricity and water and others.They are given pea nuts compared to what a president takes at the end of his tenure. Do we have to sacrifice the more for this dishonest scandal ridden politicians who we call honourables? The man has served for so many years both in government and opposition and has had the ability to put his own house yet he wants to keep what belongs to us as his own whiles we have to struggle to build our own with our meagre salaries.
