A few years ago after hearing several ameteurish hiplife songs on line I dismissed it as the usual Ghanaian blind copy trait.That is until I heard "whan na" by Obrafuor.I was impressed enough to buy it on itunes and started searching for more songs by him and others like him.I heard Kokontibaa,Passion of Christ among others and I was hooked.Even the Gospel tunes had pepped up with the likes of K.Sarpong,K.Gyasi,Ampong and O.J serving up some good music.For a change I didn't have to change the music in my car when my non Ghanaian friends ride with me now.Thanks Ghanaian musicians.
