Sam Jonah is a man who stole and mismanaged the Ashanti gold mines and since then, the mine has never been the same. He stole money and sold the mine to Anglogold so he could buy his private company for he and his family in South Africa. This is no secret to older Ghanaians and residents of the former golden city. So why then are we celebrating him? Are we a nation that celebrate thieves and leaders who use natural resources meant for the masses for their selfish gains? Posterity will judge us and in fact it already has started in Obuasi. See what's happening there...hmmm
