  I agree with the woman. If you had no money how were you going to take care of your family. You put the cart before the horse and she asked you to go and sort out your priorities. You should be grateful to her

  When I proposed to my wife, she told me no, because she would marry a rich man. Then I was broke as hell. Somehow, she did not let go of me, even though she said no. Today I'm a very rich man by God's grace. I always wonder and ask her what and how she would feel if she had let go of me, the rich man that was hers, but a poor man at the time.
