The Legend Bob Marley was and is indisputably the King of Raggae Music. In his entire career he never won a Grammy Award. But his musical genius and originality lives on till today. International recognition is good and covertious yet not everything. We all know the famous British musical band UB40. They've never won a Grammy award in their entire musical career yet their music has made positive and emotional impact on several people across the globe. So for me big ups to any Ghanaian act that gets a nod in the B.E.T or any award scheme. Having said that; am of the opinion that an artist's impact on people far outweighs any awards he can get nominated for or win. And for me I think Shatta has achieved the former. He's been able to bring the downtrodden together. And has set an example that no matter how hard life hits u, u can bounce back and succeed with unwavering determination. And this is true achievement!!!
