Such things are true. There is a state between life and death that only seriously sick people know that. I happen to suffer from Cerebro Spinal Meningitis way back in 1995. Though I was sick and on the hospital bed, I saw myself sitting in front of a river and I needed to cross to the other side. The person who was to ferry me told me to go back because I did not have the money to pay the fare. So at the hospital I remember telling my mum to give me 50 cedis (old fifty cedis) and that I'm going to the village I will come back. My mum told me, she did not have.
A day after I gained consciousness and was discharged from the hospital. The CSM made me deaf as a result.
