The Ga & Yoruba languages both have very close dialetical similarity hense the so many Yoruba words filtering into Ga language apart from the Gas tracing their roots and subsequent routes through Ile Ife in Nigeria to the present day abode of Accra. Just as the original Mokola is located in the heart of ancient city of Ibadan. Makola market in Accra is also an adaptation of the Mokola in Ibadan Oyo State of Nigeria. (Note the difference in the spellings as Mokola got adapted to Makola in Accra)
