When you seat by the road side and see how people DRESS, how people WALK, how people TALK, how people RIDE BICYCLES, how people RIDE MOTO BIKES, how people RIDE TRI-CYCLES and indeed how people DRIVE CARS ; our BEHAVIOR IN GENERAL, I remember the good old Rawlings days. There was DICIPLINE. We thank him for that.

Mike,upon your own demystify analysis it's a pity that all those wasted years of killings of the good,bad,ugly and so on in the name of putting fears into the people to obey common human laws and do the right thing.And along the line nothing happened but rather the same people have return back to their old life even more corrupted then before, it's means killing alone doesn't change people but allow institutions to work without political or tribal fevor, arrest evil doers punish them with the law also the tribal interjections needs to stop.when people jump into defense of corrupted civil servants, politicians how can the country work???? "SAY WHAT YOU LIKE, ALL THINGS LOVE ME." I do agree to Ebo Whyte.Before Rawlings came to power in 1979, Ghanaians were having it very tough within the continent. (Germany, Belgium, Holland, Denmark, Italy, France etc,etc) Our passports were meaningless at border points. The Benelux agreement signed by Nkrumah was was cancelled due to Acheampong's "YENTUA." It therefore made life difficult for us. Life became unbearable for Ghanaians at home too because they cancelled up to 40% foreign aid to Ghana. JJ 's appearance on the scene saved so many situations. The Benelux States did not re-instate the 3 months free entry for Ghanaians but released full Aid funds to support Ghana's Economy & budget. I really adore Rawlingsno matter what others think, especially the NPP and their supporters. HE IS THE MAN and will always be, not Ataa Aryee Kufuor.

Mr Whyte is 63 years, soon to turn 64. In June 1979, he was 25/26 years and was working at SSNIT. You can check on this testimony being made by me. He was old enough to understand what went on by then.
