You can still enjoy your life, continue with your daily activities with proper diet, exercise combined with insulin and other medications. Stop feeling pity for yourself and stop complaining of people abandoning you. It's irrelevant; rather stay mentally strong, accept the condition as part of life. You're not the only one in your family with Type 1 diabetes. Either your mom, father and grandparents had this disease. Please, stop eating these fufu, banku, kenkey, white bread and all these heavy carbohydrate foods. Eat more green leaves, exercise and take your insulin injections and metformins together with the pressure medications, and you'll be fine.
