  Hmm, it's just unfortunate that the authorities who are to regulate what comes on our screens have allowed years long series that show at prime time at the expense of school children study times to go on for years. This is affecting school children so much and before we realise as a country, the harm would have been done. The only benefit is that the commercials such TV stations run at high charges because of the perceived high viewing public. Churches are also suffering from evening attendance. Our regulating authorities should sit up to assess the impacts of such programmes to minimise the long term implications on society.
