The leaders of the church aren't teaching the truth, the purpose of the Tithe is not been preached. It was never for pastor and wife but for the needy and poor in society. Free giving goes beyond Tithe.

Going by the logic of A Plus, fancy I to say there that only fools pay tax. Because these taxes are used to build roads, hospitals, schools (basic, secondary and tertiary) and even KVIPs. We pay money before we use either of these services. These mission schools have done more than enough and deserve our praise not our rebukes. They take fees to pay lecturers, taxes, utilities and other workers. Wait oo do these workers and lecturers refuse to take fees because they are church men and women?

We can not underestimate how the church has imparted the the spiritual and moral lives of many but the church is another money making machinery where money is laundered eveyday. It has even become a place of victimization and enslavement. It is a place where power is in the hads of the few minority. They can afford theselves the most expensive elite sports cars, live in biger houses, send their kids to schools abroad but claimed they cannot afford a simple bus to convey their members.
They claimed Abraham paid tithe so we should do the same. But Abraham paid tithe on his loot.
The church has failed to teach their members that when they receive their salaries, they should pay their debts first (rent, bills and other expenses first before paying their tithes).
They church does not even care where you got the money to pay your tithe. Whether you have killed, stolen, cheated or black mailed someone to pay the tithe. They will bless the tithe for more next time.

We are not 'Fools' to be paying tithes, we are fulfilling our obligations. There is a reason we pay tithe, and every faithful tithe payer will confess the genuine benefits they have reaped since they started paying it. It's not magic, but wonderful.
Also don't worry about those churches setting up schools or doing business with the Churches money. I do somehow agree with u on that. But just see yourself as honouring God's command. Not all of them are bad, some churches too are doing great.
To the Abena, who doesn't believe in the Bible, claiming we need to do research as a people. Thats your opinion. But all I can say is, You will get there, when you get there. Nobody will ask you to. chase the Bible.

3. It is written nowhere in the bible that tithes must be 10% of money. If you argue that our income nowadays is mainly money then there's a problem with the bible for not being able to predict the future therefore it isn't the "perfect word of God".

4. Why does the church ask members when it needs money for its activities but when members need anything they're told to ask God. (Think about it)

5. Why are tithe payers not the most successful of persons in the world or is that its a scam? If there were blessings attached to tithe giving wouldn't there have been an avalanche of testimonies by all payers every Sunday?

A Plus is not making sense on the issue of tithe. His argument on fee paying against tithe is childish. We all pay taxes to government but not all public serves are free. Tithing isn't composory so he shouldn't worry...let th ...

If some churches are building universities from tithes then we must all praise those churches for helpi to build the country
