The Ghanaian social media space has been buzzing hot with the release of Sarkodie's latest track in which he has replied Shatta Wale's numerous attacks on him.
Shatta Wale had been attacking Sarkodie in many radio interviews in Accra and Kumasi as he went on a media tour to promote his upcoming 'The Reign' album. Shatta Wale stated in one of his interviews that he felt disrespected by Sarkodie.
While Sarkodie has been relatively quiet about the disses from Shatta Wale, it seems to have finally got him and he decided to respond. And he did so in grand style as he released 'diss' track which could be described as one of his best songs ever.
Doling out loads of insults to Shatta Wale, Sarkodie warned the dancehall artiste to be wary of him.
Sarkodie who called Shatta Wale names said though he (Shatta) boasts of riches, he was actually poor and that nobody cared about his chicken change property.
The song has since gone viral and has even caught the attention of international media including the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).
In their BBC minute programme, they featured Sarkodie's song.
YFM recorded and posted an audio of BBC's report on their Instagram page.
