New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates in the Offinso North Constituency have by popular acclamation endorsed the incumbent MP, Augustine Collins Ntim, as the candidate for the December elections.
The delegates endorsed the incumbent MP on Friday, June 19, 2020; he was the only candidate who filed to contest on the ticket of the governing party.
Since 2009, Mr Ntim has served as a legislator for Offinso North constituency.
This will be the fourth consecutive time that he is leading the NPP in the constituency as a parliamentary candidate.
Mr Ntim is currently the Deputy Minister of Local Government and Rural Development.
The popular acclamation that endorsed Mr Ntim was supervised by the Offinso District Electoral Officer, Mr Eric Gyamfi Boateng.
