  All factors written seem to be good, except the one that relates to the acceptability of the donor partners. Do you not think these institutions are the cause of the Ghanaian problems??? Are we managing our economy to meet the needs of the citizens or the so-called “Donor partners”? It's about time Ghana cuts its losses by taking an introspective view of how damage these institutions have caused to many third-world world countries.

Let us put our nation in a proper economic state before bashing the donor partners. In this fragile state that we find our nation neck deep, we would always need the donor partners.

  We don't need them!!! Our inability to engage good economic managers has made us slaves to the donor partners! I know of several countries that have moved away from such slavery donor contracts and gone ahead with proper economic strategies within a year or two and changed the economic dynamics of their respective countries. Don't let us glorify incompetence!!! The challenge African governments face is the poor choice of Finance Ministers and their Central Bank Governors who can not think outside the box not to talk about independent economic governance structures but rather based the economy against the development of its citizens in favor of external influence with the tendency to cripple the economy with debt and rising poverty levels. Poor choice of the above candidates could render the economy doomed than it's being a criterion for the choice of a running mate!

  There never is a good time for tough decisions. There will always be an election or something else. You have to pick courage and do it. Governance is about taking tough, even unpopular, decisions....Hmmmm!If there is a Nobel prize 4 corruption, dirt and filth, Ghana will win it, no doubt. there 4 Making tough decisions that may make someone unhappy is something to get good at doing.
  
  People are yearning for a politics that tells it straight: that being in government is difficult, that there are tough decisions that we have to make sometimes.
  
  Tough decisions have to be made to close our fiscal gap, stabilise our debt, and restore our state-owned enterprises to health.
  
  We are determined to build a society defined by decency and integrity that does not tolerate the plunder of public resources nor the theft by corporate criminals of the hard-earned savings of ordinary people.
  
  We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.
  We need to transform our rural areas, restore the land to its rightful owners, and significantly grow our agricultural output.
  
  We must again carry the burden of our people and shoulder our commitment to leading them to the promised land.
  
  If we are to put a stop to corruption and state capture, those responsible must be brought to book.
  
  We cannot effect meaningful change if we become complacent, if we become comfortable with our own positions in the status quo.
