  Thumps up! This isn't an attack on the promotion committees of our universities but for them to sit and review the criteria to ensure fairness and transparency. This should be front page item on Daily Graphic hard cover. The Tertiary Education Commission should be taking this up, directiong the univerisities for a prompt review not only on academic promotions criteria but the very antecendents to it- credible and peer-reviewed academic publications of our lecturers.
