Even before the EC declared the winner, nPP wanted a delay of 2 or 3 days to cross-check the EC's results with the evidence they claim to have had. On 28th December, they said that they've checked 24,000 polling stations and therefore were only contesting results of 4907 polling stations. The question is, 'What were they using to check and collate the results of these polling stations?' They are only exposing their poor organization and inability to train and motivate party agents. nPP that boasts of seasoned lawyers have to be amending its electoral petition on weekly basis especially to correct typographical and arithmetic errors! What a shame?

ALL THE COURT NEEDS IS FOR NPP TO BRING ITS PINK SHEETS AS EVIDENCE AND THEN THE EC BRINGS ITS PINK SHEETS BASED ON WHICH THE RESULTS WERE DECLARED AS ITS EVIDENCE. IT WILL BE LEFT WITH THE COURT OF JUDGES TO COMPARE AND CONTRAST TO SEE IF BOTH SIDES ARE TALKING ABOUT ONE AND THE SAME THING IN TERMS OF THE DETAILS ON THE PINK SHEETS FROM BOTH SIDES. THAT WILL BE THE FIRST STEP. IF IT IS FOUND SO THEN THEY NOW BEGIN TO ANALYSE THE ISSUES RAISED IN THE NPP'S PETITION TO SEE IF THEY HOLD WATER. If he succeeds in dragging out this litigation another 4years, he'll still be on the scene and may argue that a simultaneous assault in both the courtroom and at the ballot box represents NPP's best chance for claiming the Castle and Flagstaff House. And as he'll still be the plaintiff for the courtroom tussle, he can logically argue to remain the point man for the rumble at the ballot box.
