Why send EC officials to foreign countries to register Ghanaians who were qualified to vote but not let them vote? Was that just a holiday for those officials to earn some allowance in foreign currency or what? That was a waste of Ghana's scarce resources. If this revelation is true then the EC really mismanaged the 2012 elections.

All the same, if this is true, it could be a big blow to the petitioners. That would mean the details of those who were registered abroad may not be necessary since they did not vote and could not have had any impact on the outcome, unless of course, it was a ploy to increase the registered voters list,
