You do not attribute "His Excellency" to president Mills. Is there any particular reason for that? Do you realise your own biases and how they are eating into you? You have written a long diatribe of thrash which is tantamount to nothing but lamentation.
You in my view, wrongly accuse the chairman of the electoral commission of somehow 'stealing' the election for His Excellency president Mahama. The only reason you feel this way and express it is because in your little mind';s eye, you simply cannot fathom 'non-entity' Mahama coming from no where to become president of Ghana. It hurts you so bad, but you also forget that before that the man was Vice president of the republic i.e. the number 2 at the helm of affairs.
What makes you think that Nana Addo was "more qualified" for the post than Mahama or anyone else for that matter, including His Excellency the late Mills? What is wrong with people like you is that you look at the country Ghana through a narrow prism which has distorted mirrors and is not a true reflection of the reality on the ground nor represents the sentiments of the people of our beloved Ghana. Until, and unless you begin to appreciate that it is not only the ones you think have got the 'super brains' and 'magical powers' to create the kind of country you like to see who are the only ones who can rule or run our country, you will forever wallow in ignorance and an empty superiority complex which will only destroy you in the end.
Ghana belongs to all of us and no tribe or ethnic group has superiority or are better qualified than any other to rule or to lead. What we need are genuine leaders and public servants to help steer the country in the right direction. We need everyone on board but equally, we should discard those who refuse to properly recognise and acknowledge those in authority and choose to refuse to serve under them.
It is such a pity that in the 21st Century we still have people with such narrowed thinking and this false belief that somehow it is only their kind of people who are best qualified to lead the country. Ours is a country of confidence, tolerance and all inclusive. That is why Ghana is admired far beyond its own shores and Ghanaians all over the world continue to do the nation proud irrespective of their tribe or creed. We all support and hail the Black Stars, starlets and our sports men and women when they represent us. Do we tralk about tribes or ethnic groups? Why do you continue down this irredeemable route to self-destruction? The labour party in Britain lost the last election and so did the republicans in the US. Some of them especially in the US have refused to accept that the president of the US is not the person they would have preferred. Who cares? It seems to me you have chosen to join that type of mindset.
The fact that there is a supreme court petition questioning the results of the elections now appears to me as a smokescreen to cover this mindset and refusal to accept that none other than the petitioners are the most qualified to rule the country., The hard facts are that it is only the Ghanaian electorate who have the power to decide who rules them. On this occasion they have chosen the NDC and their presidential candidate. You had better accept that fact and respect the office of the president.
