  There is nowhere in our Constitution that gives political parties the rights to challenge electoral results in court.What is clear in the Constitution is that a citizen could do that but not a party,organisation,association,enterprise or any group.NPP themselves have denied on many platforms that the party has not petitioned any challenge but some citizens in person of Nana Addo,Bawumia and Jake who are the actual petitioners.Therefore,it's wrong for anybody to refere to the case as NPP's petition.If we go by what NPP is saying,then ofcourse they cannot boycott parliament business for certain individuals in the society.The constitution gives the right to only individual who is citizen of Ghana but not a political party so they are becoming lawless in my view.Thank you.

  Mahmud, who is a law student and cannot appreciate the fact that the Westminster system of Parliament is different from ours, and can’t project a balanced reasoning, leaves a lot to be desired. The likes of you always preach from your heart than your mind. We need great minds to change Ghana and not people like you who cannot think out of the box. Why did NPP boycott Parliament? Do they have justification? What can we do to prevent this 'Tom and Jerry' style of politics in Parliament? Can we make new Laws to improve Parliamentary practice? These are the kind of questions which demand answers I expect of a good law student and not the repetition of this same crap between these two major parties. When NDC boycotted Parliament because one criminal was convicted by a court of competent jurisdiction, what did you do to improve on the system of governance? At the time it was very alright for you. People like you and the NPP alike make us puke. Wake up Mahmud and justify why we should be reading your articles. May be your desire is to have a better life and believes that your dream can only come true under this regime and that is why you think through your heart than your mind. A mark of inferiority and lack of confidence and I am not ashamed if you think I am arrogant. I don't even care if NDC or NPP wins the case because I will continue to follow my dreams rain or shine.
