No government worth its salt would dare plunge its nation into a health crisis by chopping off the main artery in its health-care system.
You have this utterly absurd inclination to comment on issues without initially doing a lot of the footwork that goes with commentary....did you call the two men involved to verify the authencity of the statements purported to have been made by them? And better still, did you consult health and labor experts in Ghana to seek their opinion on the outrageous statements allegedly made by the two men...writing commentary is easy from your standpoint, but if you want to burnish your credentials as a member of the Ghanaian commentariat, you ought to do better than what you have demonstrated so far.

What a tragedy if we have people like these as 'intellectuals' in Ghana. God help us! It's no wonder Ghana faces brain drain with most of our skilled professionals going abroad.
It takes special knowledge and specialist training to practice as medical practitioner, and as we all know, one does not need any special ability to become an MP or charlatan. It's rather those 'overpaid inept windbags' in Parliament/Government who should be chased out for failing their duties and responsibilities.
