  What are y'all now crying about? Do you require American and British doctors to beg the GMA before practising in Ghana? Mahama should give all striking doctors 72 hours to get out of government premises;return all cars;and pay back all funds spent on their education.
  
  These glorified folks have been put on a high pedestal,cuddled and kissed by the successive governments and the general population for too long.It's time for Mahama to send a strong message to these "labor jihadists", like Reagan did to air controllers and Thatcher,to the "mighty" labor unions in Britain.

  Was it not a previous Ghanain govt. that created the Ghana Medical Council?If so maybe they could bring in the Cuban doctors with the approval/cooperation of the medical council.

  The government should sack the doctors. These guys went to subsidize medical school on state welfare.

  If they can't serve in the government sector--they can pick up their tools and go and work in the private sector.
  
  Its is wickedness--for these "welfare" trained doctors to continue to depend on the government for their livelihood.
  
  Look guys, you have enough education--try and find a better livelihood--and sstop the 'dependence" on government handouts.
  
  It is a shame--only in Ghana and Africa where such highly trained can resort to wickedness to "beg" for peanuts.
  
  Doctors, Please go and start your own clinics and charge your market determined prices and leave the public tax payers' money alone.
