A member of the Ghanaian Parliament, known for his hot temper and acid tongue, exploded one day in mid-session and began to shout, "Half of this Parliamentarians is made up of cowards and corrupt politicians!"
All the other Parliamentarians demanded that the angry member withdraw his statement, or be removed from the remainder of the session.
After a long pause, the angry member acquiesced. "OK," he said, "I withdraw what I said. Half of this Parliament is NOT made up of cowards and corrupt politicians!

Mr Akpah, Ministers, like the military, must be rank when presenting them. One cannot put the Minister for sports ahead of Defence and so on. Get your ranking right before you put such informatiom in the public.

We voted massively for NDC, yet this is what we get in return? You can insult me all you want, but the truth of the matter is as clear as sunshine in summer. And besides, please don't waste your time advising me to divest myself of my tribal leanings. I just will not listen to you!
Well, on second thought, I am not blaming Mahama and his NDC ingrates; Why should they reward a tribe that revels so much in just the mere rhetoric of promises? Is Mahama trying to tell me that he could not find competent Gas who could effortlessly best the half-baked Collin Daudas, Haruna Iddrisus, Fiffi Kweteys etc, etc? You mean, Nayon Biljio understands fisheries more than all the bonafide, educated, beach-bred, Ga aquatic experts that populate our industrial and academic nerve centers?
As I stated earlier, I am ready for your insults; frankly, you will be justified to throw verbal darts at me.
