Blackstar line collapsed under NDC and NPP's health minister used Ghana airways funds to cater for his American girlfriend and eventually collapsed it.
Kenya and Ethiopian airlines are still the envy of the world. Yes, those are intelligent men who love their country and doing everything to keep a state enterprise profitable, and not voided heads with questionable Phds we have in Ghana.

The Ethiopians even went further to introduce profit sharing in which every employee of the airline have a shared stake in the airline. Now that's intelligence greedy Ghanaian officials won't even think of no matter which party they belong to.

Every new equipment has its shortcomings, and so it was with the biometric equipment versus the electoral commission. It appears you wanted all those Ghanaians who could not be verified biometrically to be disfranchised. And you say some people are not intelligent; implying that you are intelligent!

A cursory glance of the heading of this article by Rockson Adofo makes you believe that you may be reading an article of Eintein. However, i was shock to read the advertised intellectual dishonesty, political begottery, and a blatant display of high illitracy of monumental proportions by this writer. Is Adofo not aware that the petitioners are not alledging fraud or conspiracy in the court? Is he aware that biometric verification has been part of voting process since we introduced pictures in our registration process. We have moved from a process where names and age were the principal determinants of identification before you are permitted to vote in 1992 to colour photo ID in the urban areas in 1996 and black and white or grey photoes across the country in 2000 elections and beyond. In all these years voting was not by post( the postal system) but by manned personel at polling stations whose principal duty is to check your biodata and biofeatures before you are allowed to cast your ballot. 2012 biometric verification was only an attempt to clean the voters register of double registration using the fingerprint and picture as the unique identity of the registrant stored in a mathematical algorith format. The Biometric Verification Device to me was the most unintelligent machine ever produced for elections which did not only slow down the voting process but in fact denied many potential voters their right to cast their votes. Infact the EC and the Political parties have each connived to deny some voters their constitutional guaranteed right to vote. Just imagine at the time of registration certain people were identified as having a temporal trauma and therefore the device could not capture their finger prints. Is EC and the parties for once saying that after the close of registration the conditions for rendering a persons finger traumatic were eleminated in the country? Cant there be a post registration traumatic experience which had the propensity of rendering the registered voter incapable of being identified by the device per the finger prints?. But this was the hard realities of 2012 leading to voters adopting various ingenous ways of eliminating such a situation by the use of alcohols, coke and other corrosives in utter disregard of the health hazards and in a frenzy to exercise their legitimate duties but all to no avail to some.
