If you are in doubt do not look far away for evidence.
Ask yourself that when the late Alhaji Alieu Mahama served Kuffour for 8 good years as a vice prrsident what did they do to him? When it was time to choose somebody to succeed kuffour what did they do? Didn't they go and chose an Akan man?
After that, didn't they say "otani or pepeni" is not fit to lead the NPP?
You wait and watch and see what they will do to Bawumiah, I rest my case!

You must be an idiot because it was/is the likes of you and your parents who behave(d) obsequiously to them. Without the presence of other ethnic groups they would still be living on trees. It was the other ethnic groups who developed them with their technical skills such as masonry, carpentry etc.

You are a typical sad case of what the writer is talking about .As Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe said on a radio discussion sometime ago,to be a leader in the NPP, you have to work your " ass " off to prove that you can bring good fortunes to the party and to the country .Leadership of the party is not selected on rotational basis ,or imposition of aperson on the party by founder(s) as is done in the NDC but on competitive and democratic basis. That why the NPP has visionaries to able bring into fruition such social intervention programs such as the School feeding program, the NHIS, SSSS etc. Since the NDC came into power ,tell us what social program they have introduced . Trust me if at their congress to elect a leader and Bawumia is not able to lay out a convincing vision for the country, he will never lead the party. This has nothing to do with him being " Otani or pepeni" Thais is hat the writer of this article wants people like you to understand.

All the 17 aspirants went through a process at their congress which resulted in the selection of Kuffuor as the presidential candidate and so was Akuffu Addo - coincidence ? The NPP does not APPOINT presidential candidates ,It elects- that is a person must be willing to present him self and prove that they have what it takes to lead a nation . The party scorns on quota system and this stance is detestable to some but that is what ithe party stands for.

You see ,the problem we have in Ghana is that people wait for manna to fall from heaven unto their laps. Which other names are being circulated by other aggrieved people or tribes ? None. Of the 17 aspirants ,how many of them were not of Akan origin. No responsible party will impose on itself people who feel inferior and lack confidence in themselves .There is no record of NPP barring people from any contest but if people do not put their names forward, how do they enter a contest . We want capable and confident people who know what thy are about , to lead us not cowards and people of low self esteem who are easily manipulated by others.

A cursory look will reveal that those whose forefathers lost all their properties during the PP's alience compliance order are finding it difficult to forgive the Danquah Busia tradition.
Those who lost nothing have the option to be part of the NPP. No one is stopping them to be part of NPP.
Zongorians just like any other community are motivated to vote along certain lines based on their convictions as to what they perceive to be right for them.
It is absurd to think they follow the herd mentality to vote along certain lines.

Stop this degrading commentary which tends to suggest that zongorians do not have brains.
Zongorians have suffered a lot from such profiling of being inferior and no brainers.
