I don't see anyone trying to destroy our country for Mahama or Akufo. I have hope in Mahama and Akufo, that they will do the right thing by asking their followers to remain calm if the verdict does not go their way.
The me ...

You may be so mundane to believe that Akuffo Addo will do anything to control his people in case the verdict goes against them. The man is an epitome of violence whose public utterances indicate that he cares less about the p ...

If we are talking about "using" people for political gain, Akufo is not the only one here. From Nkrumah right down to Mahama, all have done it.
You saw nothing wrong with Mills' tribal remarks when he said, "adze wo fie ey ...

Kofi,
Actually, I wanted this piece to be an exhortation only, not a full-length article. One thing about an exhortation is that people will read it in its entirety, because it's so short, whereas they may skip parts or al ...

Love it. But, next time write a long version for Dusty and Dusty only, Pleeeeease. Well, hope you're doing fine out there.
Peace out.
Danny, I was just playing mischief. That is something I should learn from, in fact. Because you do not write often these days, I was excited seeing your article. It was not meant in a negative way but for fun.
Kofi, I do agree with your submission and I think that was why I chose my words carefully by stating that, when it comes to "USING" the people by our politician none of them is innocent. Akufo might be found guilty of using b ...

Nyansasem, I subscribe to your further review and we are singing from the same hymn sheet.
The Justices were brilliant yesterday and I hope the politicians go the message.
Many tricks. That is politics. There are winners and losers. We live to see.
First and Foremost Democracy is decided by votes . You can be a sore loser as it looks in Africa Type of Democracy . Ghana, we should learn a good lesson from what is going on in Egypt. You wait till next electoin and Vote th ...

Nyansasem, I believe that we ought to remind ourselves of what's at stake. Usually, people who go about destroying property are those who'd taken some alcohol, which then acts as a catalyst to cause them to do things they'd o ...

Danny, I think it will depend on the leaders what they will do or say immediately after the verdict.
I believe Akufo if the case is thrown out, Akufo has on one chance to save his face and that is to immediately call Maham ...

MAY I BRING TO YOUR ATTENTION TO CORRECT THE WAY YOU WRITE YOU WRITE DOWN YOUR DATE, WHICH IS AN AMERICAN WAY RATHER THAN A GHANAIN OR AN ENGLISH WAY OF WRITING A DATE.
Ok, if you thought it was the 8th day of 29th month in the year of 2013, that is fine with the writer.
hahaha; don't mind that anachronistic individual.
That's a hilarious answer, Nyansasem! This person might be a kid who's just learning, so please take it easy on him!
I think this an interesting observation because it links to other things. ALL the Ghanaians in the US writing for the ghanaweb adopt US spelling, measures, expressions, etc. EXCEPT Bokor Michael and a few non-regular writers. ...

The current ISO standard of writing dates is ISO 8601, third edition published in 2004. The idea, as usual, is to go from the general to the particular even up to the second in the hour/minute.
The ISO 8601 has several adv ...

"Those who were hurt by defeat can go hang if they so wish," Mugabe
"If they die, even dogs will not sniff at their corpses,"
and you equate Ghana with Mugabe's Zimbabwe? Tweeaa.
I think the key word for peace is that "the losers must accept the verdict" graciously. We must learn from Kenya,Nigeria,Uganda and Zambia where all the petitioners who lost their petitions accepted the SC verdict graciously.T ...

Nice to know that you're doing well, Trouble-Maker!
If it is true that we want to practice democracy, then the laws abiding it must be respected. If we twist the laws abiding with democratic process which goes through elections, then our democracy would not be successful.
Supreme court should declare Nana Akufo Addo as the winner of the 2012 election.
If SC twist the verdict, no credible election would be held in the country because no law would work during election.
Stop dreaming and accept whatever verdict the Supreme Court judges will declare. If you file a petition in court it does not make you a winner,my friend.Thank you.
The law must not be twisted order than that no credible election would be held in the country period.
GOD is on our side peace and love are going to harm Ghana nothing will happen politician are da agents of illuminati let try to avoid them. don't fight becos of politic.they are wickeds.
