losing the elections and the doomed petition should be an opportunity for NPP to do some soul searching and internal reforms to return another day to figt better. For its own good, for the good of democracy and for the good of Ghana. Anything lss can consign the party into a longrr widerness whih wil make our democracy less vibrant without a strong opposition which is supposed to be a viable alternative to the government of the day.Time to tame the loose canons in the party and allow the wisemen and women help their youth to revive the fortunes of the second leading party in Ghana.

every con man always useslong talk and plenty of bullshit to buttress his scam and thats what atuguba has done here in the hope that since most people can not follow up he can get away with murder. i am surprised he didn't write a new bible , the fact remains the elections were definitely rigged , pepeni killed mills and now used another pepeni to to commit another travesty of justice . immediately after the ashowo minister has now commissioned with the chinese new ports in the volta and other non Akan areas so now i hope they told the chinese we Akans will not pay for that including the hospitals and have already lined up enough yams and mangoes to pay for these projects since they have no gold oil or cocoa . pepeni stop using and abusing Akan money , steal from you own gonja and ayigbe idiots. we never get anything good from you only poisoned water and lies every day

Stellar and refreshing article and makes me wonder why, I sometimes shy away from articles written by people named Kobby or Acheampong, smile.
There's nothing I can take away or add to this piece, except wish for all the present leadership of the party to be given the boot now, in order to thoroughly evaluate, rebuild/replenish and completely overhaul the secretaryship as well as the national party chairmanship.
Few changes on the way forward:
1. The party must be de-Akanized and assumed a truly national posture. Mind you, the party is a national treasure and not only for 'yen Akanfuo'.
2. The party must completely overhaul it tendencies of geronto-autocracy that's being displayed by Amoako Tuffuor and Anto in favor of processes, procedures, and outright meritocracy.
3. What is crucial to the party at the moment is rebuilding of the party internal structures, and selection of real conversant leadership, especially secretaryship and Chair-person, as well as the message and type of vehicle they will choose to convey it.
Some say that politics is a game of addition and not subtraction and hence, scribes and the faithful of the party should bear this in mind and be more circumspect in their utterances henceforth.
Humility, Respect and Service to all should be the way forward.
Isn't it superb the vehicle NPP chose in the 2000 elections, " In that campaign, the party sought to show the electorate that it had a team with the experience, the capability and the cohesion to deliver."
Designer cough or 'We need absorbable not avoidable graduates/when you fly over there, the land is just standing there!' handed the Presidency to you know who, by the sheer coincidence of being allowed on the stage in the debates. Hence, the Party can trade horses or form coalition to achieve victory at the polls, if need be, anaa?
Kudos!!!
If only the party can strategize to win six out of ten regions, i.e. Northern, Western, Central, Gt Accra, Easton, and anti-Ash regions, bingo!!!

The SC judges by their interpretation and application of the law have made a new law and what does that law say? Simply put, 'Guard the Ballot Box Even at the Peril of Your Life'. This is what is going to prompt the arms cache because people are going to arm themselves to the teeth. You can now see the harm the Supreme Clowns have caused us. This is how far our useless university education has brought us.

The NPP must subject itself to intensive soul searching in order to rid itself of the stench it brewed with the shameful and unpatriotic utterances such as " yen Akanfo", "kill all the Gas and the Ewes" among others, and the overtly marginalising of certain groups of people of the country they once ruled and aspiring to rule. Some of us Akans in diaspora have seen how political parties intensify their efforts in winning support from parts of the state that did not vote them into power by the execution of massive projects and policies that were not achieved by their affiliated party. Slurs, aspersions, arrogance and divisive strategies/statements do not win elections and or rule a nation, especially, a nation like Ghana, where the barriers to inter-tribal marriage were dismantled long before we became the torch bearers of Africa. Have a good day my fellow Ghanaians.

The concluding remarks of this article is so well thought of, nothing acn be added. Kuffour's type of personality are a threatened with extinction in NPP, but growing in NDC. Just look at the presidential candidates of NDC after Rawlings. Mills, Kuffour and John Mahama seem to come from one mother's womb, no matter their ethnic diversity. This are the personalities the vast majority of Ghanains want, the cool headed presidents, this is what NDC has understood since Rawlings, but this seem not to be understood by NPP.

NPP: a party in disarray ,leaderless, lacking in direction or vision. A party heading for the precipice. It will take a miracle to revive the fortunes of the NPP
