All of a sudden he felt like he was technically equal to all the experts at Obuasi Goldmines. He likes the sound of the word comrade and cadre ion his ears and never a lousy write up from him, which he considers as articles, goes by without him dropping those words.

You and others in Ghana and or in African must not confuse the system of governance in the United States of America with immovable object. The United States of America, love it or hate it has been the source of the human spirit and the dose to human conscience because it is the only nation with a constitution that continues to live (grow and change) as its citizens through their representatives make changes that conforms with Judeo-Christian principles and the conscience of the times. It is in these terms that the United States of America through its laws can charge and remove a president from office and or its legislators from office and from power for corruption, nepotism and all the ills that has become acceptable norms with our leaders.
If Africans want to employ democratic principles and best practices as their respective institutions of government they need to look to the spirit of democratic principles and values and design a more advanced system that takes into account our belief system, cultural practices and accepted progressive social norms not what America and or any other country has designed for its people. And indeed it is because Americans do grow in wisdom that they have the capacity to right past wrongs. Here in Ghana our politicians are thieves and yet you have never heard anyone confess to be being a thief and or admit to misuse of government office to enrich themselves, families and cronies. Americans through their president has done something Ghanaian leaders are incapable doing.
