Good governance is based on perpetual vigilance from the people. the ruled must make sure the ruler is doing the right thing through constant checks. when kufuor bought the gold chain for himself what did we do? nothing. If we had asked him to refund the money maybe it would have sent the signal out there that the president is not above the law. We need to put politicians on their toes and it will be well with us.

As for Kuffour please live him alone because that chain is something small, a token from Obuasi. Mahama took a whole airplane load of our gold outside the country which was intercepted in Kuwait, en route to iran and this never catch the eyes this blind NDC fanatic. Where was Allotey. Where was this bias PKakpo guy when Rawlings routinely lifted our gold from Obuasi in a military chopper piloted by himself to ghost town around the globe and Libya? Anyway you made some good stuff that make your write up worth reading.

Politics in itself is not bad but greediness and selfishness is killing us as Ghanaians. Your analogy is ok but you yourself have been blinded by politics of hatred. That is the motivation behind this write-up hence you could no suggest a way out. Get out of politics and you could see objectively. Good job though.
